15.6" Digital Calendar - Date not advancing?

I was wondering if anyone is experiencing the same problems as me? 

1. I find that my date indicator when in the "Month" Mode will not advance automatically. I have to go to the "Week" or "Day" display mode and then switch back to "Month" mode to get the date to advance.

2. lately, any time I create a "Chore", it does not appear on the Calendar but shows up in the phone app.
