How to Modify the Time to View Motion Detection

Introduction
- Motion Detection performance can vary based on real-world conditions. The detection range is affected by factors like weather and a person’s walking speed.
Distance options (in the app)
You can select one of three detection ranges:
- Near: 4–7 meters (13–23 ft)
- Medium: 6–10 meters (20–33 ft)
- Far: 8–12 meters (26–39 ft)
Note: These ranges are approximate. Actual results may differ depending on conditions.
What can change the detection distance?
- Weather: Rain, fog, snow, or extreme temperatures may reduce detection performance.
- Movement speed: Very fast movement or very slow movement can affect how reliably motion is detected.
Activation
Storage required:
-
The camera needs an SD card or cloud storage to record and save motion events. Without storage, motion alerts may still work, but no video will be saved.
Battery Level:
-
When it drops below 20%, the camera will activate low-power mode, restricting functionality to mobile monitoring only (alarm triggers will be disabled).
-
Adjust the "Detection Sensitivity".
