- No, the battery is built-in and rechargeable with a charging cable(USB). We recommend to use a 5V 2A charger. You can also charge it by using a solar panel.
5. Can it be installed outdoors?
Yes, it can be installed outdoors.
- The camera is operational outdoors in temperatures ranging from **5°F~131°F（-15°C~55°C)**.
- If the temperature is below **-5°F (-15°C)**, the battery will not functioning well, resulting in lower battery levels and shorter battery life. However, you can still operate the camera in such conditions.
- If the temperature is higher than **131°F (55°C)**, the camera will switch off automatically. Once the camera cools down, it will restart and continue to run.
6. What height or angle should OB20 be installed at?
- For safety, ensure the OB20 is under 3 meters (10 feet) above ground level or a gentle downhill slope (less than 15°).
7. When should I use the secure outdoor mount?
- If there is extreme weather (heavy rains, strong winds, hail, etc.), please use the secure outdoor mount bracket to install the camera. A shield is recommended to keep out the rain.
