OB20 Installation

1. Is mounting hardware included?

•  Yes, it is.

2. Can it be mounted onto a brick?

• Yes, it can be mounted to brick. You can just drill the brick for mounting.

3. Can I place the camera on a flat surface or mount it to a wall or ceiling?

• Yes, you can place your camera on a flat surface or mount it to a wall or ceiling.

4. Any extra batteries?

• No, the battery is built-in and rechargeable with a charging cable(USB). We recommend to use a 5V 2A charger. You can also charge it by using a solar panel.

5. Can the OB20 be charged using a portable charger (power bank)?

• Yes, but you must ensure that the portable charger's output specifications meet the device's requirements.
  The following are detailed instructions and precautions for charging the OB20 using a portable charger:

• Output Specification Requirements:
  The portable charger must support a standard output of 5V/2A.
  Please be sure to use the USB-C (Type-C) charging cable included in the packaging to ensure stable voltage transmission and protect the charging port.

   

• Strictly No Disassembly: The OB20 features a built-in 12,000mAh battery design. It is strictly forbidden to attempt to disassemble or replace the battery yourself, as doing so may compromise the IP66 water resistance rating or pose a fire hazard.

6. Can it be installed outdoors?

Yes, it can be installed outdoors.

•  The camera is operational outdoors in temperatures ranging from **5°F~131°F（-15°C~55°C)**.

•  If the temperature is below **-5°F (-15°C)**, the battery will not functioning well, resulting in lower battery levels and shorter battery life. However, you can still operate the camera in such conditions.

•  If the temperature is higher than **131°F (55°C)**, the camera will switch off automatically. Once the camera cools down, it will restart and continue to run.

7. What height or angle should OB20 be installed at?

• For safety, ensure the OB20 is under 3 meters (10 feet) above ground level or a gentle downhill slope (less than 15°).

8. When should I use the secure outdoor mount?

• If there is extreme weather (heavy rains, strong winds, hail, etc.), please use the secure outdoor mount bracket to install the camera. A shield is recommended to keep out the rain.
