If your wireless router has SSID broadcasting turned off (Hidden Wi-Fi), your frame will not automatically show up in the standard Wi-Fi list. Please follow the steps below to access the advanced settings and manually add your hidden Wi-Fi network.
🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Navigate to About Settings: On the Frame Screen.
On your frame's main screen, tap Settings ➔ Select About.
2. Tap 'Model' about 10 Times rapidly: Unlock System Access.
Locate the Model option and tap on Model rapidly about 10 times. This will automatically open the background system settings menu.
Verification: Ensure the display switches to the system-level Android settings screen.
3. Open Wi-Fi Menu: Access Wireless Settings.
Tap the first option, Network & Internet ➔ Tap the first option, Wi-Fi.
Verification: Confirm the Wi-Fi toggle is ON, and the nearby networks list appears.
4. Add Hidden Network: Enter Wi-Fi Details.
Scroll down to the bottom of the list and tap Add network. Enter your hidden Wi-Fi name (SSID), select the security type, enter your password, and save/connect.
Verification: Confirm that your Wi-Fi name displays "Connected" or the Wi-Fi icon appears in the status bar.
5. Exit the system: Unplug and replug the charger to restart the frame.
