Q1: Why do I need to register/log in to an account after updating to VPhoto Version 2.6.2?
A: In VPhoto Version 2.6.2, the app has undergone a major upgrade, evolving from the earlier password-free mode into a unified user account management system. Registering and logging in not only ensures transmission security, but also enables cross-device connection management, cloud data backup, and unlocks brand-new AI creation and interactive frame features.
Q2: How do I re-link/re-bind my photo frame after updating the app?
A: After the upgrade, the system needs to re-associate your new account with your frame. Please follow these steps:
Get the Connection Code: Ensure the frame is successfully connected to Wi-Fi. Go to Settings -> My Frame on your frame, where a 9-digit dynamic connection code and QR code will be displayed (valid for 12 hours).
Bind via the App: Open the VPhoto App on your mobile phone, log in with your newly registered account, tap "Add Frame / Bind Device", and either scan the QR code on the frame or directly enter the 9-digit connection code (Note: Enter numbers only, do not include spaces) to complete the setup.
Q3: Will the existing photos and videos on my frame be lost after re-linking?
A: Not at all. Re-linking only affects the cloud transmission account channel between the mobile App and the frame. All photos, videos, and system settings already saved in your frame's internal storage remain completely intact and will not be affected in any way.
