To solve the wifi disconnected issue, please refer to the following suggestions.
1. Restart your calendar frame and router
Turn off both your frame and router and wait for about a minute, then restart them. This is the most immediate way to resolve temporary software glitches and IP conflicts.
2. Check Wi-Fi Signal Strength
Ensure the calendar is placed close to the router or in an area with strong and stable Wi-Fi. Avoid placing the device near thick walls or metal objects that could interfere with the signal.
3. Check and optimize your router
Confirm the router's working status: Check the indicator lights to see if they are functioning properly.
If possible, try connecting another device (such as a mobile phone) to the same Wi-Fi network to see if the same issue occurs. This will help determine if the issue is with the router or the device.
Keep the router away from microwave ovens, cordless phones, Bluetooth devices, etc., and keep the photo frame as close to the router as possible, within 1 meter, and avoid any obstructions such as walls.
4. Check for MAC address filtering
Log in to your router's admin panel (typically by typing 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 in a browser; see the router label for your username and password) and check if MAC address filtering is enabled.
If it is, add your device's MAC address (available in the device's network settings) to the allowed list.
It is recommended that you delete infrequently used and unimportant devices on the router and clear the buffer records. The number of connected devices can be controlled within 10, and then use the calendar WiFi to connect to the router (make sure the calendar device is in the list).
And please check the security of router is WPA/WPA2 PSK or other WPA 3,normally please try to use the WPA/WPA2 PSK.
5. Please try to connect to other wifi routers, such as the router at a neighbor's home, company, or public. This can help us confirm whether it is a router problem.
6. Check and optimize your device settings
Forget the network and reconnect: In Settings' Wi-Fi settings, find the currently connected network, select "Forget This Network" or "Delete Network," then search for it again and re-enter the password. This can clear any incorrect network configuration.
About how to Forget and Reconnect to Wi-Fi
On the calendar device, go to:
Settings >Wi-Fi
Tap on your Wi-Fi network and select “Forget,” then re-enter your Wi-Fi password to reconnect. Please confirm the password is correct.
7. Change to a new wifi network or use your personal cell phone's hotspot to connect.
Our frame could support 2.4G WIFI and 5G WIFI networks.
It is recommended that you give priority to using 5G WiFi, which is more resistant to interference.
8. Check for Version Updates
Navigate to “Settings” > “About” > “Check for Updates.”
The latest version is 3.7.22. Updating can often improve performance and fix connection issues.
9. Please access the internal system of the frame and connect to Wi-Fi.
