OB20 PTZ Troubleshooting Guide
Issues with lens rotation are typically caused by mechanical obstructions, firmware calculation errors, or physical motor damage. Please follow these procedures:
Step 1: Software Adjustment & Calibration
Reset via App: Open the NiView App, go to the PTZ control interface, and click the "PTZ Reset" button to recalibrate the lens.
Disable Guard Mode: Turn off the "Guard" (Watch Position) setting and test if the manual pan/tilt controls work properly.
- System Reboot: Restart the device and try controlling the rotation again to see if the issue is resolved.
Step 2: Physical & Environmental Check
- Clear Obstructions: Inspect the installation site for any branches or foreign objects that might be blocking the lens. It is recommended to take a photo of the installation environment to verify there are no physical barriers.
- Listen for Noise: While attempting to rotate the camera via the App, listen closely to the device. Note if the motor makes any abnormal noises (such as clicking or grinding) during operation.
Step 3: Contact Technical Support
If the above steps do not restore full PTZ functionality, please contact our support team:
