If you are experiencing abnormal video quality, poor night vision, or loss of image, please follow these steps to diagnose and resolve the issue:
- Optimize Network Connection
- Action: An unstable network can cause image lag or loss. Try moving the camera closer to the router or restarting the router to refresh the signal.
- Check Bandwidth Limits
- Action: Too many devices on the same network can limit the camera's performance. Try reducing the number of devices online simultaneously on the same network.
- Clean the Optical Lens
- Action: Dust, fingerprints, or dirt on the lens surface will degrade image quality. Use a soft cloth to wipe the lens regularly.
- Resolve Night Vision Overexposure
- Action: If the nighttime image is too white or has a halo effect, it is likely caused by infrared reflection. Ensure there are no obstacles within 2 meters of the camera's field of view (such as walls or branches) to prevent infrared light concentration.
- Verify App Settings
- Action: If the screen is pitch black at night, please go to the App settings and ensure the Night Vision function is enabled.
