If your Dragon Touch photo frame fails to enter sleep mode or wake up at the scheduled times, please follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Verify the time zone setting (most common cause)
The sleep function operates based on the frame's internal local time. If the time zone is incorrect, the scheduled power-on and power-off times will not align with your actual local time.
Path: Go to Settings -> Album Settings -> Date & Time -> Time zone.
Check: Ensure the selected city or time offset exactly matches your current location.
2. Check the "Repeat" settings for the schedule
Simply setting the power-on and power-off times is not enough; you must specify which days of the week the schedule applies to.
Path: Go to Settings -> Album Settings -> Sleep.
Check: Look at the **"Repeat (Days of the week)"** option below the time settings and ensure the desired days (e.g., Monday through Sunday) are selected (usually indicated by highlighting).
3. Check for interference from the "Motion Sensor" function
For models equipped with PIR motion sensing (such as the Classic 10 Elite or Modern 15/16), if the motion sensor is enabled, the screen may automatically turn off during non-sleep hours if no human activity is detected.
Check: If the screen turns off prematurely, go to "System Settings" to see if the Motion Sensor is enabled. Try turning it off to see if the scheduled power-on/off function returns to normal.
